Captain's soul is in the catamaran. He is very knowledgeable and tries to make the sailing experience as good as possible. Nice way to relax, get some sun, see dolphins and experience the San Blas Islands..
Great 4 days on a catamaran loved the San Blas Islands. We have seen several dolphins and a shark. The captain certainly knows where the best snorkeling is: I have never seen so many fishes outside of a tank. Some Kuna indians brought us some lobster on our last night there. The trip to Colombia was very windy, this boat goes fast, but nobody got sick.
Trip through the the San Blas Islands was awesome. We had dolphins swimming with the boat twice and caught some tuna on the first day out. Fritz's wife is a great cook and tuna and rice Caribbean style! Sapzurro and Cartagena was kind of strange, never been to a place with no cars or roads before. We took the bus to Medellin before going to Cartagena as someone said they had some of the most beautiful women in the world there. They were not wrong!
I thought it would be a bit crowded as there were 16 of us but there was plenty of room for all of us. The captain was very entertaining and as promised the food was great. I liked the San Blas but didn't like the people there very much, they all wanted money. The Darrian gap was really great with lots of people and donkeys but no cars!
We left Portobelo in the morning and were at the first of the islands by early afternoon. Good snorkeling and lots of fish. The islands are very pretty and the Kuna Indians were friendly. The trip to Obaldia was fast and fun. Altogether a very nice time.
